Our Summer Vacation - Day 3 (Day at Sea on the Carnival Victory) - Blogged by JME

We spent a day on the ship as we traveled from St. Thomas to Barbados. Estimated distance as the crow flies from St. Thomas to Barbados is around 500 miles, so we spent the day at sea. We had a good time hanging out with each other and being involved in all the activities the ship had to offer. One of the things we really enjoyed was playing miniature golf. On the first hole, I got a hole in one and was ahead of N8 through most of the game.

He was really happy at the end when he finally beat me and won by one hole.

Then N8 and I went inside and played some trivia games. They gave trophies to the winners. Neither of us won, but N8 was able to answer a riddle at the end and won a medallion. Smart man.

Later, we went up on deck to watch an ice sculptor do a demonstration. It was cool to watch him. Can you guess what he is making?
He ended up carving this Indian chief and did it in under 20 minutes. Pretty amazing. Hurry! It's melting fast!!!

We enjoyed relaxing and spending some time in the swimming pool.

We also ended up in the semifinals during a bean bag toss.
It was a pretty fun day!
