The Weather Outside is Frightful! - Blogged by JME

Earlier this month the weather reports told us we were going to have a blizzard. Everyone took the warning seriously and went to Walmart to get lanterns and heaters. Banks closed early and other employers let their employees leave early to get a head start home and hopefully beat the dreaded blizzard. The drive home was a little scary because it was hard to see, but it wasn't horrible. N8 and I even got all bundled up in our winter gear and went tromping through the storm. . . .

We even made snow angels . . . .

It really wasn't much of a blizzard. We were a little disappointed at the amount of snow we got. There really wasn't much. Tonight, however, is more like a blizzard. It dumped on us today. Earlier we had really wet heavy snow. Snow pants and snow boots didn't really cut it. A scooba diver's wet suit would have probably been more appropriate. Around 3 p.m. today when it looked like the snow was finally going to stop, down came more, but this time it was the real stuff, not the slushy stuff. I think tonight is a good night to stay indoors!
